Powhatan and Goochland

Powhatan and Goochland Counties are both rural counties outside of The Richmond area. Powhatan borders Chesterfield County on the west and lies on the south side of the James River, while Goochland borders Henrico County on the west and lies on the north side of the James River. Both have had rapid growth, but still in most cases have maintained the rural feel with large lots. Resales properties and new construction are available in both counties.

Powhatan neighborhoods include Tilman’s Farm, Maple Grove, Founders Bridge, Greywalls, St. Marys, Mill Quarter as well as many multiple-acre properties.

Goochland neighborhoods include Mosaic at West Creek, Reader Branch, Breeze Hill, Blair Estates, Kinlock, Randolph Square, Meadows at Manakin as well as many multiple-acre properties.
